Perry Truster

Perry is a past-chair of the Canadian Tax Foundation. He has received CPA Canada’s Award for Excellence in Income Tax Practice and Education. He was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in November 2012 to recognize his contributions to Canada. He was awarded the Lifetime Contribution Award by the Canadian Tax Foundation in 2018 to recognize his contributions to that organization.
Perry has authored and presented papers at numerous annual and Ontario Tax Conferences of the Canadian Tax Foundation. He has contributed more than 60 articles to the Canadian Tax Foundation’s publication “Tax for the Owner-Manager.”
Perry has authored and presented tax courses for Commerce Clearing House, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and other organizations.
In 2007, he received the CICA Award for Excellence in Income Tax Practice and Education.
